Drivetrain

Got the tranny bellhousing to my buddies at Scootworks today.  They have a very complete machine
shop and are going to try to machine the housing for the adapter for me.

Started working with some of the drivetrain components I have been collecting over the years.  Here are
a few pics of the Z32 tranny pulled apart.

Here you can just see the front case in the background, getting ready bo be machined for the Z32
transmission to L series adapter plate.  The adapter is the entire reason for pulling this transmission
apart.  I will clean it up while it is apart and replace seals.  I'll try to check the bearings and gears since it is
open anyway, but these things are pretty much bulletproof.  This is actually the first time I have ever had a
transmission open.

Here is a shot of the Q45 VLSD I plan to use with the cover removed.  I had to switch the later style cover
over to the S13 style to fit my S13 subframe.  Luckily they use the same bolt pattern.

You can see the Z32 transmission in the background.  Tore in to the diff right after the tranny while the garage
already stank of gear oil.....

Engine Assembly, circa 2006....

The block, bottom end assembled.

Nothing special there....  Except that people don't use them.  A stock P90A, tanked and tested.  On a turbo car
where I don't need a lot of lift, I don't see any reason not to use the last evolution of the L6 head.  We'll see how
it goes.

And this is still pretty much where it sits today, three years later.....
